A QUICK "HOW TO" FROM ASHLEIGH

You should expect your horse to be more comfortable after day 10 and a visible transformation after one month.
SKIN TONIC
RECOMMENDED FEEDING RATE:
Pony - approximately 250kg 20ml per day.
Horse - approximately 500kg 30ml per day.
Large Horse - approximately 750kg 40ml per day.
Shake well before each use. Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible. Introduce to feed slowly. Do not exceed the recommended intake.
Complementary feeding stuff for horses, ponies and donkeys. Does not contravene with the Rules of Racing, UK National Federation Rules of Competition, or FEI rules.
COLLAGEN & KELP
DRY/IRRITATED SKIN
Gently press and massage the fondant into your horse's skin with slow sweeping motions, focusing your application on areas that are particularly dry.
MINOR NICKS & RUBS
Gently press and sweep the fondant onto the area. A little massage is okay but you want to create a thin, barrier-like, layer.
RUB PREVENTION
Gently press and massage the fondant onto any areas of the body that you feel are prone to rubs. This will help to hydrate the area and defuse friction.
BEAUTIFY
AS A MANE & TAIL OIL
Clients usually find that after a few 'loading doses' they only need to apply Beautify Oil on manes and tails once or twice per week as the results last and also become accumulative.
On Dry Hair: Pump a 10p size of oil into the palm of your hands. Press hands together to distribute and then gently begin to comb through your horse's mane/tail using your fingers to detangle as you go. Repeat if necessary.
On Wet Hair: For a more intensive mane and tail treatment, after shampooing apply a 50p size of oil into the palm of your hands. Press hands together to distribute and then gently begin to comb through your horse's mane/tail using your fingers to detangle as you go. Beautify Oil omits the need for conditioner. Leave mane and tail to dry naturally, then enjoy the immense shine and tangle-free combing. Please note that as Beautify Oil is super concentrated, you only need to use a very small amount.
AS A HOT CLOTH OIL
Add 2 pumps of Beautify Oil into your bucket (approx. 1 litre) of hot water. Immerse clean cloth into your bucket and wring out. You want steamy damp, not hot wet. Use the towel like a curry comb to work back and forth in small areas at a time. Work with and against the natural lay of the hair. Finish by smoothing the hair in the direction of growth once clean.
Even though we create all our formulas to be allergen-free and suitable for even the most sensitive of skins, 'anything' can be sensitive/allergic to 'anything' so it's always a good idea to patch test on healthy skin 24hrs before doing an entire HOT CLOTH treatment.
AS A HYDRATING SPOT TREATMENT
As the seasons change, so does your horse's coat. This can cause dry skin, which leads to dry hair, which leads to hair rubs, which eventually leads to bald patches. To avoid this, when you see (or feel) dry patches occurring on your horse, be proactive and hydrate it with Beautify Oil. Apply a very small pump into the palms of your hands and apply directly over your horse's coat in the direction of the hair growth. Not only will this hydrate but it will also defuse any friction between rugs or other items.
SUMMER PERFECT
DAILY USE
After grooming (and/or washing), spray liberally over the entire horse including the legs and saddle area. We would recommend spraying onto a cloth and wiping over their face avoiding the eye area. You can stop there enjoying the shine and gorgeous scent, or you can use a finishing cloth to create an intense mirror shine.
PATCH TEST
Even though we create all our formulas to be allergen-free and suitable for even the most sensitive skin, anything can cause a reaction. It’s always a good idea to patch test before using a new product on your horse.
