Beautify Oil is at the heart of the system, providing daily nourishment for the mane and tail to help keep the hair soft, silky, manageable and naturally glossy. Regular use helps maintain healthy-looking hair that’s easier to brush and less prone to becoming dry and brittle.

If the skin around the mane or tail becomes itchy, irritated or uncomfortable, Collagen & Kelp Fondant provides targeted support to help care for those areas. A comfortable horse is less likely to rub, making it an important part of maintaining healthy manes and tails.

For horses with rubbed manes or tails, sparse patches or areas where hair has been lost, Regrow can be added as an optional extra. It’s designed specifically for situations where additional hair regrowth support is needed, while the core system remains the perfect routine for everyday mane and tail care.

STEP 1. – First 7 days

Daily, apply COLLAGEN & KELP REPAIRING FONDANT to the skin of the mane/tail that is itching. This will heal and soothe the skin relieving any itching and get the skin back to health!

Daily, apply BEAUTIFY OIL to the hair strands of the mane/tail that are there. You will quickly see the hair start to restore; gleaming shine and no tangles!!

STEP 2.

By now the skin will be healthy. You can stop using COLLAGEN & KELP on the skin, unless you think it needs a little longer, in which case stay on step 1.

Switch to using REGROW on the skin of anywhere that needs a growth treatment.
Continue using BEAUTIFY OIL on the hair strands but you can move on to a maintenance application of 2-3 times per week.

STEP 3.

Ongoing – Use REGROW until you’re happy with the growth. Continue with BEAUTIFY OIL for as long as you’d like.

WHY IS SILICONE FREE SO IMPORTANT?

Silicones are hydrophobic which means they repel water. When it does this in hair, the very precious moisture content of just 3% is reduced and the protein bonds that make up 97% of hair become less stable and more liable to break. In a nutshell, those old-school mane, tail and coat sprays that we have all used since pony-camp simply coat your horse in silicones which yes, does make them look shiny, and yes, it does detangle their hair BUT this is short-lived and it’s actually damaging your horse’s mane, tail & coat!! Dry, fragile and weak hair leads to breakages, rubs, bald patches, and even the loss of manes & tails completely! Just say NO ... and get NEIGHKED!

HOW LONG WILL THIS SET LAST ME?

Obviously, it depends on usage. However, on average if we allocate one set per horse, we would expect the set to last approximately 8 weeks.

WILL IT PREVENT MY HORSE FROM GETTING RUG RUBS ON HIS/HER MANE AND TAIL?

YES! Healthy, strong hair does not break and rub away! We have created this problem for our horses, not by choosing to put rugs on them, but by choosing to use harsh, drying products on them such as silicone sprays. These have made their hair strands so brittle and weak that unfortunately, rug rubs are so common. But there’s no need to fear as this damage can be reversed.

DOES THIS HELP WITH SWEET ITCH SYMPTOMS?

Yes, COLLAGEN & KELP helps to combat Sweet Inch in 3 ways:

1. Soothes the itchy, inflamed skin which will instantly make the horse less likely to rub it further worsening the skin.
2. It's Anti-Bacterial & Anti-Microbial properties work to destroy any bacteria.
3. The micro-encapsulated Collagen starts the healing process.

We would also recommend using STAY PERFECT Body Spray daily to help to keep the horrid bugs away from your horse.

CAN I USE THIS ON ALL MINOR WOUNDS?

We certainly do, and it's a must-have for all of our client's grooming bags!
Obviously, you will need to use your own judgement on whether your horse is in need of veterinary attention but for most minor wounds and abrasions, COLLAGEN & KELP will help to speed up the healing process, prevent scarring, protect from environmental aggressors and bacteria whilst hydrating the skin making it as comfortable as possible for your horse.
