Ros Canter is one of Britain’s leading event riders, the 2024 Burghley winner, and an Olympic gold medallist. A graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, Ros began her career by combining teaching with producing young horses before making her breakthrough on the international eventing scene. She has since represented Great Britain at European and World Championships, securing numerous team and individual medals, including double gold at the 2018 World Equestrian Games. Based at her family’s farm in Lincolnshire, Ros runs a successful eventing yard, producing horses from novice to elite level. Known for her calm, consistent approach and meticulous attention to detail, Ros is passionate about horse welfare and long-term development. When not competing, she enjoys spending time with her young family and supporting the next generation of riders through clinics and mentoring.
