Does Beautify Attract Dust and Dirt?

No. When used correctly, Beautify doesn't attract dust and dirt to your horse's coat.

We completely understand why people ask this. Beautify contains nourishing oils, so it's natural to wonder whether applying an oil will leave the coat sticky or greasy — and whether everything from arena dust to bedding will then stick to it.

That's not how Beautify works.

Why doesn't Beautify attract dirt?

It comes down to the type of oils we use. Beautify is formulated with nourishing oils designed to be absorbed into the hair and skin, rather than coating the outside of the hair with a sticky, oily residue.

Once absorbed, there isn't a greasy surface sitting on top of the coat for dust and dirt to stick to.

Think of it like using a good-quality dry oil on your own hair. It's there to condition the hair, but once properly applied, your hair shouldn't feel wet, greasy or sticky.

Beautify works on the same principle.

Should my horse feel oily after using Beautify?

No. Your horse's coat, mane or tail should feel soft, conditioned and silky — not greasy or sticky.

If the hair is still visibly wet or oily after application, you've probably simply used too much product.

With Beautify, more isn't necessarily better. Apply the recommended amount and allow those nourishing oils to be absorbed into the hair and skin.

What about manes and tails?

The same applies.

Beautify is brilliant for keeping manes and tails soft, conditioned and manageable, but it doesn't achieve that by leaving them covered in a sticky detangling residue.

That's particularly important to us because Beautify is designed for long-term hair health, not simply a temporary cosmetic effect.

So whether you're using Beautify through the mane and tail, over the whole body or as part of your hot-clothing routine, the principle is the same:

Nourish the hair. Don't coat it.
